About Tray Landscapes

Tray Landscapes are bonsai scenes constructed with stones, trees, mosses, and shrubs, and gravel planted in a shallow tray or slab. Some landscapes also make use of mudmen figurines.
The primary types of tray landscapes are bonkei and saikei.
