Spider
From BonsaiWIKI
Spiders should be considered separately from the Spider mites, which are also arachnids, but are a troublesome pest on bonsai.
The larger spiders can often be considered beneficial bugs. John Y. Naka is supposed to have said, "Every bonsai should have a spider." In practice this seems to be the case.
Spiders trap and kill other insects, many of which are pests. If their webs become troublesome, the spider can often be chased away with a chopstick or a spray of water.
