Sageretia

Sageretia (Mock Buckthorn or Chinese Sweet-plum) is a genus of tropical or subtropical shrubs in the buckthorn family Rhamnaceae, used in bonsai.

The commonest species are:

  • Sageretia minutiflora
  • Sageretia theezans
  • Sageretia wrightii
