Repotting

Repotting is the process of transplanting a bonsai. Repotting may be done for the purpose of maintaining the roots. Changing worn-out and compacted bonsai soil, or changing bonsai containers.

The frequency of repotting depends on several variables, which include, the age of the tree, its species the size of the bonsai containers and the growth rate of the tree.
