Potting soil
From BonsaiWIKI
Potting soil is a commercially prepared mixture used for general purpose container plants. Potting soils vary in quality and construction. Common potting soils follow a similar recipe, consisting of sand and partially composted fir or redwood bark.
Many potting soils have too many fines for use as a quality bonsai soil and will require a lot of attention to prevent drainage problems.
