Organic fertilizers
From BonsaiWIKI
(Redirected from Organic fertilizer)
Organic fertilizers contain materials which release nutrients as they decompose. Organic fertilizers used for bonsai may be made of bone meal, rapeseed, blood meal, bat guano, fish emulsion and other materials.
Organic fertilizers typically are slower acting than chemical fertilizers because they require the action of microorganisms to release the nitrogen and make it available for the plant.
