Omiya-Koen
From BonsaiWIKI
The historic Bonsai Village, located outside Tokyo, founded in 1925, two years after the Great Kanto Earthquake forced many out of the Tokyo area. The city was developed with rules requiring its residents to maintain a bonsai garden open to the public, use hedges instead of fences and prohibit 2-story buildings.
