Watering is the irrigation of plants with water.
Watering is said to be one of the most difficult skills to learn. Most of the difficulties that beginning bonsai fanciers have can usually be attributed to problems with watering.

Watering Bonsai - Variables
With all the variables at work, the difficulty in watering properly is a challenge that can require several years' experience to perfect: In addition to the variables of tree species, bonsai container size and depth, bonsai soil composition, we should consider the timing of watering, the amount of water applied, the frequency of watering, and the seasonal variables of temperature, wind and relative humidity.
