Japanese
From BonsaiWIKI
Japanese is a name for the peoples and language of the archipelago of islands known as Japan.
Many bonsai terms are words borrowed from Japanese, as the art of bonsai was refined and codified in Japan over the past several centuries.
Japanese calligraphy still forms a component of types of formal display of bonsai, appearing in scroll paintings and haiku poems. Antique writing tables are sometimes used as bonsai stands.
