Grafting knife
From BonsaiWIKI
Grafting knives are bonsai tools used in grafting. The knives are hollow ground on one side and typically made from a laminated steel that will take a very keen cutting edge.
In addition to being very sharp, the edge of a grafting knife is very thin and presents little resistance. Where an X-acto type knife might tear tissues due to its wedge shape, the grafting knife will slice cleanly and with little tearing that could result in necrosis.
