Fungus

Fungus (pl. fungi) a plant-like organism that lacks both chlorophyll and a rigid cell wall, and propagates by spores. Fungi cannot support photosynthesis; some are parasites of living organisms, while others engage in symbiotic relationships with other plants, or subsist on decaying organic matter.
