Formal display

1. A formal display are bonsai displays that consists of at least two elements.
- a. The bonsai resting on a stand and
- b. One or more accents, which may be an accent planting, scroll, or painting or suiseki.
2. The three-point display above consists of three elements:
- Tree, scroll, and stone.
3. A Bonsai exhibit consist of one or more bonsai displays
4. Formal bonsai displays are often presented in a tokonoma indoors.
