Fish emulsion
From BonsaiWIKI
Fish emulsion is an organic plant fertilizer often used as a foliar fertilizer. Fish emulsion has NPK varying from 4-1-1 to 6-4-6 depending on the manufacturer. It can provide a rapid source of nitrogen to your trees.
Keep in mind that the odor of fish may be an encouragement to cats, raccoons and other animals! (see Beware link below). So-called "Deodorized" fish emulsion is available, which may help with this problem, but it is still rather stinky! Be prepared if you use fish emulsion that for the next couple of days you'll be attracting all manner of rodents, yellow jackets, wasps, flies and cats.
