Fertilizer is a product used to increase the fertility of bonsai soil. Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium are the key elements in a fertilizer, N-P-K. The chemicals may be derived as an organic fertilzer or an inorganic fertilizer. So called minors are other key elements that may be present, or not, depending on the fertilizer.
