Driftwood style juniper

Description

The driftwood style (see bonsai styles) is one in which the prominent features incorporate deadwood. Japanese use the terms jin and shari to refer to these lifeless pieces of wood which were bleached white by the relentless desert sun.
California Juniper is a popular subject for Driftwood style bonsai.
