Acid-loving plant

From BonsaiWIKI

Acid loving plants like azalea, camellia and dogwood prefer an acidic soil pH. Soil pH can be lowered in a number of ways. Periodic watering with a dilute solution of vinegar in water (1 teaspoon to tablespoon in a gallon of water), fertilizing with Miracid or using an organic fertilizer will all work.

Bulk, industrial vinegar can be found at janitorial supply services.

Some trees, including pine, juniper, redwood and cryptomeria can also benefit from a slightly acidic growing environment.
